Character Design
"Students will learn to bring their original characters to life on paper. They will learn how to design a character from their basic silhouette to the laces of their shoes. At the end of the course students will have created a small cast of unique characters and be ready to incorporate them into any comic, illustration or animation project."
Class culminates in students creating full turnarounds for a cast of characters, along with a collaborative design built upon over the course of the class.

"Students will learn how to draw a variety of fantasy and sci-fi related creatures, characters and the environments that they call home. They will learn how to tell stories through single narrative illustrations using traditional and digital drawing tools. At the end of the course students will have the skills to create dynamic, original illustrations featuring engaging fantasy or sci-fi elements."
